7 non-European countries you can visit with your Schengen visa

The revamped Schengen visa rules are like a golden ticket for Indian jet-setters, offering multi-year visas. The revised regulations, known as the “Cascade” regime, allow Indian nationals to obtain long-term, multi-entry Schengen visas valid for two years. With Schengen visa, European states such as Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Greece, Spain, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, and Sweden and non-EU members Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland can be visited.

If you hold a multiple-entry Schengen visa, then you can travel to Mexico for a stay of less than 180 days. If you hold a multiple-entry Schengen Visa, US visa, or Canadian visa, then you are eligible for a visa exemption for a maximum of 30 days to Belize. Indians can travel to the Bahamas visa-free with a Schengen Visa, UK, US or Canadian visa and stay there for 90 days. Entry to Singapore is permitted with valid Schengen or German/Swiss visas. You can stay up to 96 hours, provided that transit to Singapore or from another country is via Singapore. An expired Schengen visa is accepted if you’re travelling directly from the issuing country through Singapore to home. You can visit Philippines for 14 days with a valid multiple-entry Schengen visa.

This can potentially be extended to 21 days but at the discretion of the Philippines Bureau of Immigration. You are eligible for a visa on arrival in Bahrain, if you have a valid US/UK/Schengen multiple-entry visa that is valid for one year. The Republic of Türkiye can be visited with a valid Schengen visa and the Indian passport holders can apply for single-entry e-visas valid for one month, provided they meet certain conditions.
