Jaipur: Addressing pre-budget discussions held in two sessions with representatives of industry, trade, tax advisory associations and the service sector on Monday, Chief Minister, Bhajan Lal Sharma said MSME registrations were increasing rapidly due to investment-friendly policies of the State. In the last year, he said, about 5 lakh micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) were registered and Rajasthan now ranks fourth in registration of MSME units. Sharma said his Govt. had strengthened the State’s economy with efficient financial management in a short period with gross GDP growing at 12.56% in 2024. He mentioned that capital expenditure of the State also increased by 65.94%.
Sharma stated that his Govt. was committed to development of agriculture and farmers. The Govt. transferred an additional instalment of Rs 650 crores of Kisan Samman Nidhi to 66 lakh farmers, he said. For the first time in the history of Rajasthan, such a huge amount was transferred directly to the bank accounts of farmers by the State Govt., said Sharma.
